About us

Mary Mediatrix International is a lay Catholic community founded in Manizales, Colombia, more than 20 years ago, with a mission to serve the evangelizing work of the Church by leading people into a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Through seminars, prayer groups, and ongoing spiritual formation, the community accompanies children, young people, couples, and families on a path of faith, healing, and renewal. Rooted in Catholic teaching and guided by the Holy Spirit, Mary Mediatrix International seeks to form disciples who live the Gospel in everyday life and share God’s love with others. What began as a local initiative has grown into an international mission, touching lives in many countries and creating spaces where hearts can be restored, faith can deepen, and communities can be strengthened through the transforming power of Christ.

Our Spirituality

The spirituality of Mary Mediatrix International is centered on the proclamation of the Gospel through a process-oriented path of evangelization carried out in seminars and supported by various social media platforms. Faithful to the Word of God and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, the community draws richness from the spirituality of the Charismatic Renewal and the New Evangelization, with the goal that each person may have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, seeking to form disciples who live, witness, and share Christ with conviction and joy.

The Community's Work in Canada

For more than four years, Mary Mediatrix International has been offering seminars and retreats to Hispanic communities in Quebec, Canada, accompanying individuals and families in their journey of faith and fostering spaces of encounter, prayer, and spiritual renewal. This growing mission is now supported by a committed group of leaders dedicated to evangelization and to serving the pastoral needs of the community with generosity and zeal. At the same time, all formation and evangelization materials are being translated into French and English in order to begin sharing the Gospel in the country’s two official languages. This new stage marks an important step forward in expanding the mission’s reach across Canada.
